Emergency services were called to the B4363 near Billingsley, south of Bridgnorth, at around 12.45pm on Saturday. West Mercia Police confirmed on Sunday that a 19-year-old man, who was riding the motorbike, died at the scene of the crash.

West Mercia Police warned that the road was likely to remain shut "for the foreseeable" on Saturday afternoon while crews dealt with the aftermath, and asked drivers to find an alternative route.

Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service said one fire crew was sent from Bridgnorth to make the scene safe, where they were joined by paramedics and police.
