Seven men were arrested after disorder in West Bromwich High Street.

Police were called to disorder involving a group of men at around 3pm on Tuesday.

Seven men were arrested in connection with the incident and have since been bailed while enquiries continue.

A spokesman from West Midlands Police said: "Officers on patrol on West Bromwich High Street came across a disorder involving a group of men at 3pm on Tuesday.

"Two men were taken to hospital for treatment and were arrested.

"Four men, aged 18, 28, 33 and 46 years old, were arrested on suspicion of affray.

"A 45-year-old was under arrest at hospital being treated for his injuries."

On Wednesday afternoon, a West Midlands Police spokesman confirmed all seven men had been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
