Teenager dies after being hit by tram in West Bromwich
A teenager has died after being hit by a tram near a Midland Metro stop.

Police are appealing for information following the incident near Kenrick Park metro station in West Bromwich.
Officers were called to the station, near Devereux Road, at around 7.40pm on Sunday to reports of a 19-year-old man on the tram tracks.
The death is currently being treated as unexplained and officers are working to establish the circumstances of how he came to be on the tracks.
Det Chief Insp Tony Fitzpatrick, the investigating officer from British Transport Police, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed what happened at Kenrick Park metro station yesterday.
“We are working to establish how the man came to be on the tracks.
“Did you see or hear anything out of the ordinary in the area, in the time leading up to this man’s death?
“The victim is an Asian man, aged 19 years old, and was wearing dark clothing.
"If you saw someone matching his description in the area prior to the incident, please contact me as soon as possible.
“Any detail, no matter how insignificant it may seem to you, could help us to establish how this man died."
The man’s next of kin has been informed are are being supported by officers as the investigation continues.
