Lane closure for Wednesbury A-road as 'essential' roadworks get underway
One lane of an A-road in Wednesbury is closed for "essential" roadworks.

West Midlands Roads has warned of a lane closure on the A461 Dudley Street, Wednesbury, to make way for essential Cadent works.
The lane closure is said to most likely impact the A41 Black Country New Road and Hallens Drive.
The works are expected to be in place until October 3, with drivers urged to plan ahead of travelling.
On X, West Midlands Roads said: "Roadworks, A461 Dudley Street, Wednesbury.
"Essential Caden roadworks. Lane closure delays are likely impacting the A41 Black Country New Road and Hallens Drive.
"Expected to continue until October 3. Plan ahead: allow extra time for your journey."
