Car flips onto roof in Wednesbury

A car flipped and landed on its roof in Wednesbury.

Emergency services were called to Carrington Road just after 11.20am today to reports of a single car crash.

A woman, who was out of the car when paramedics arrived, was assessed and discharged at the scene with minor injuries.

Jamie Arrowsmith, spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: "We were called at 11.22am to reports of single vehicle RTC, in which the vehicle had overturned.

"One ambulance was sent to the scene. On arrival we discovered one patient, a woman, who was out of the vehicle.

“Following assessment at the scene, the woman was able to be discharged at the scene with minor injuries.”
