Schools were forced to close and part of a house collapsed when the main burst in Park Lane West, Tipton, on February 4.

South Staffs Water is replacing the whole 300-metre long pipe on the street, and has now completed 200 metres.

South Staffs Water said: "The team have now replaced just over 200 metres of the new main on Park Lane West - from Brewery Street to the junction of Hill Street.

"Thanks for your patience while we carry out this work, just under 100 metres to go now."
