Lorry trapped under bridge in Tipton
This was the unfortunate sight a motorist was greeted by as he misjudged the height of a bridge in Tipton.
The bridge in Park Lane East, near the Dudley Port train station, was blocked as the lorry got trapped underneath.
Traffic was stopped in both directions as drivers tried to free the vehicle, which was lodged under the Puppy Green Aqueduct owned by the Canal and River Trust.
Officers from West Midlands Police attended the scene to help minimise the disruption to drivers.
The Canal and River Trust has been approached for comment.
