Boy, 14, remains in hospital with serious injuries after Tipton minibus crash

A teenage boy is still in hospital with serious injuries after he was hit by a minibus in Tipton.

The 14-year-old was riding a push bike when he was struck by the minibus in Toll End Road on Sunday night.

The boy remained in hospital on Wednesday morning with serious injuries, a West Midlands Police spokesman said.

Emergency services crews rushed to the scene of the incident, which unfolded at around 9.15pm on Sunday.

The minibus driver has been assisting West Midlands Police with their enquiries.
