Teenager arrested after schoolboy stabbed in Rowley Regis

A teenager has been arrested after a schoolboy was stabbed in the stomach in Rowley Regis.

Police were called to an alleyway off Throne Crescent at 6.40pm last night.

The 15-year-old victim was taken to hospital after the stabbing, but officers said his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Another teenager has been arrested in connection with the incident.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “Police have arrested a teenager following a stabbing in which another lad was injured.

“Officers were called to Throne Crescent in Rowley Regis at 6.40pm on Tuesday following reports of a disturbance in an alleyway.

“A 15-year-old boy has been taken to hospital to be treated for an injury to his stomach.

“His condition is not believed to be life threatening.”
