Warning after teenager threatens to stab Oldbury Academy student

A Black Country school has issued an alert after a teenager threatened to stab a student while he was waiting for a bus.

An Oldbury Academy students was threatened

The Oldbury Academy pupil had been waiting for a bus outside a car garage in Wolverhampton Road, Oldbury, on Tuesday night.

He was approached by a teenager, aged 18 to 19 years old, who asked why he was "looking at his girlfriend".

Oldbury Academy posted the warning on their social media accounts on Wednesday, stating: "Last night [Tuesday June 18] a student was waiting for a bus outside the BMW garage on the Wolverhampton Road, Oldbury, when he was approached by a male who asked why was "looking at his gf [girlfriend]".

"The man got angry and put on gloves and a balaclava, and threatened to stab the student.

"The student on a bus and went home.

"He is described as a black male, approximately 18/19 years old and wearing a black tracksuit. The police have been notified."
