Woman taken to hospital after crash

A woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries after a crash in the Black Country.

The driver was involved a two-car-crash in Doe Bank Lane, Great Barr, at around 8.50am on Friday.

The road was closed between Queslett Road and Frampton Road following the crash but it has since reopened.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We attended a two-car collision on Doe Bank Lane in Great Barr at about 8.50am on Friday.

"A woman driver is believed to have suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital for checks.

"We remained at the scene for traffic purposes and the road was reopened just after midday."
