Cyclist seriously injured after Cradley Heath crash

A cyclist has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car in Cradley Heath.

The man was hit by a car at the junction of Cox's Lane and Powke Lane at around 7.50am this morning.

The male cyclist was taken to Russells Hall Hospital with serious injuries.

A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We received a call at 7.50am this morning to reports of a road traffic collision between a car and a cyclist.

"One ambulance attended and treated and conveyed one man to Russells Hall Hospital with serious injuries."

West Midlands Police was also in attendance at the scene.
