Man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after Birmingham stabbing
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing in Birmingham.
A 33-year-old man was taken to hospital and remains in a stable condition.
Police said his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
Officers were called to a church in Rocky Lane, Aston, at 10.50am this morning where a 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Police said they believe the offender and victim knew each other and that this was a targeted attack.
The area is cordoned off as an investigation was launched.
