The charity shop in High Street are looking for a total of six volunteers, each carrying out two hour shifts to sort donations, steam items to go out into the shop to be bought, and price up items for the shelves.

Store manager Julie Keen said: "It's a busier time of year in retail so there are more donations."

She added that before Christmas people clear out their unwanted objects to make space for new items and gifts.

And the extra donations received by the shop required more people to help.

Julie said the more volunteers that came forward, the quicker the job could be done.

She said any time locals can give is 'extremely valued' and can really help people in need.

Anyone interested should ring the shop on 01384 440181.
