New images have been released by police as they step up the search for Mr Gill, from Stourbridge.

One picture shows his distinctive silver coloured Smart Roadster car, which has been recovered from Stourton near Stourbridge.

He was last seen at around 9am on October 6.

Police say despite several calls from members of the public, there have been no confirmed sightings of Mr Gill since that day.

His family have been carrying out searches and have also appealed for information.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who saw the car from 9am on October 6 to October 9.

It is believed he was wearing a blue Superdry t-shirt.

Detective Constable Gail Cartridge, from West Midlands Police's Locate team, said: “We are very concerned about Matthew, there has still been no contact with his family and friends and this is completely out of character for him.

“We ask Matthew to get in contact with the team to just let us know he is safe and well.

“Thanks to everyone that has already got in touch with us. If you know anything about his whereabouts, please call us.”

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Locate team on 01902 649 150 or the Missing Persons charity on 116 000.
