Two Indian workers detained in Dudley for overstaying visa

Two Indian men who were working at two Black Country businesses have been detained by the Home Office after overstaying their visas.

A 37-year-old man had been working at The Fryers, in Northfield Road, Netherton, Dudley, while a 35-year-old man had been working at Premier Store, also of that street.

They were detained by Immigration Enforcement officers at 3.45pm on Thursday.

A Home Office spokesman said: "Both men were detained pending their removal from the UK."
