Man taken to hospital after Kingswinford incident

A man was taken to hospital after an incident in the Black Country.

Emergency services including the Midlands Air Ambulance were called to Standhills Road, in Kingswinford, at around 6.30pm on Tuesday.

Police say they were called following concerns for the safety of a man inside a property in Standhills Road.

A man was found with injuries not believed to be life-threatening – and he was taken to hospital.

A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 6:32pm to an incident in Standhills Road, Kingswinford. We sent one ambulance, a paramedic officer, the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford and the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car to the scene.

"On arrival, crews found a man with injuries not believed to be life threatening. He was treated on scene before being conveyed to hospital on blue lights and sirens.”

A West Midlands Police spokesman added: "We were called to Standhills Road, Kingswindford at around 6.30pm on Tuesday following concerns for safety of a man inside a property.

"He was treated by ambulance colleagues and taken to hospital where he will receive a further assessment."
