High Street and Queensway have been shut from the Earls Way roundabout to the bus station after it burst this morning.

A number of businesses are without water as South Staffs Water work to fix the issue.

This includes Halesowen C Of E Primary School which has been forced to close.

Mike Morris, network Performance manager at South Staffs Water, said: “We have been repairing a water main on Halesowen High Street, following a burst in the early hours of this morning.

"The repair has been completed and local residents and businesses should now see the return of their water supply.

"The road closure from the roundabout on the A458 through to Queensway will remain in place until tomorrow afternoon, while we work to repair the road.

"We will continue to provide updates via our website and mobile app.

"We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your continued patience.”
