The red car was embedded into the lamppost in the crash in Colley Gate, Cradley, near Halesowen, which took place on Saturday night.

Emergency services were sent to the scene, but it is believed no one is seriously injured.

The crash took place outside the Chainmakers Fish and Chip shop and the Nisa Local.

The fish and chip shop posted CCTV footage online showing the moment the car lost control before crashing.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said they called to a crash involving a car into a lamppost but there were no injuries.

Chainmakers posted on Facebook: "A car crashed outside the shop – no one was hurt, but all the plant pots have been smashed or broken outside."
