Cash stolen during raid at Dudley pharmacy

Cash was stolen from a Dudley pharmacy during a raid in the early hours of today.

Jhoots Pharmacy, in Milking Bank, was targeted by burglars this morning.

A quantity of cash was stolen from inside – but it not believed that any drugs were taken.

West Midlands Police has now launched an investigation.

A spokesman for the force said: "Police are investigating a burglary at Jhoots Pharmacy on Milking Bank which is believed to have taken place in the early hours of this morning.

"A quantity of cash was stolen, though thankfully, no drugs are believed to have been taken.

"Enquiries continue and anyone with information is asked to contact us."
