Fire cuts power for 150 in Pensnett
More than 150 homes were without power overnight in Pensnett after a fire.
Just after 11pm last night a fault in a piece of equipment in Bryce Road was reported which had affected 156 customers.
Western Power said engineers worked throughout the night and all power was restored by 6am today.
A spokeswoman said: "We had a fault in a piece of equipment that was reported just after 11pm last night, it affected 156 customers.
"Engineers went to the site to investigate.
"They ruled out a temporary repair as it would have restored all customers on a short-term basis but there would be further outages so they worked throughout the night and did a permanent repair instead.
