Woman injured as car overturns in Dudley crash

A woman has been injured after the car she was driving crashed into a parked car and overturned in Dudley.

Paramedics were called to Woodland Avenue, near Priory Park, at around 9.17pm yesterday.

They treated a woman whose car had flipped over after crashing into a parked car.

She was taken to Russells Hall Hospital with minor injuries.

A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 9.17pm to reports of an overturned car in Woodland Avenue, Dudley.

"One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended.

"On arrival, they discovered one patient, a woman, who had got herself out of the car.

"She was treated for minor injuries and taken to Russells Hall Hospital."

A spokeswoman for West Midlands Police added: "Police were called to reports of a collision between a car and a stationary car just before 9:25pm last night on Woodland Avenue.

"The driver of the car received injuries which are not thought to be serious.

"Anyone with any information should contact police via live chat at between 8am and midnight or call 101 anytime, quoting log number 2507 of August 12."
