A large police presence was seen at Baggeridge Country Park yesterday afternoon.
Police urged residents not to be alarmed or to speculate.
South Staffs Police tweeted saying: "Officers are currently assisting @Officialwmas with a medical emergency at Baggeridge Country Park.
"This is the reason for the large police presence and there is no reason to be alarmed. Please do not speculate around this incident."
