Lower Gornal road to be one-way for three months

A road used as a short-cut between Lower and Upper Gornal will be made a one-way system for three months.

Ruiton Street will be reduced to single lane with no access from the Five Ways island direction.

The system will be in place from April 15 to July 29.

it is so scaffolding can be safely installed for work.

Diversions for northbound traffic will be in place on Robert Street, Jews Lane, Kent Street, Hill Street and Holloway Street.

The one-way system will be located 65m from the roundabout.

Traffic will inly be able to travel along the road in a southbound direction.
