West Midlands summer may not be completely over
As autumn mists roll in, forecasters today gave the West Midlands some hope that summer may not be completely over.
Temperatures over the next week may tip to 20C (68F) for some – but only if the sun can force its way through the low cloud that has descended on the region.
These stunning images were captured by Express & Star reader Steve Spencer, looking over Enville from Sheepwalks. He was enjoying a walk in the relatively calm conditions that have marked the start of October.
The weather for this week is mixed – but it will remain mild and forecasters say temperatures may peak just in time for next weekend.
