The maths student, who plays Bran Stark in the hugely successful HBO show has been pictured boozing with his new pals in the city's student haunts.

And fellow freshers say he was happy to pose for selfies with fans while enjoying a pint – before the group moved onto one of the city's nightclubs.

One fresher, who asked not to be named, said: "We were running around the Duck and Scholar, a local pub, when we spotted none other than Bran Stark, sitting with his mates having a drink.

"He was having a pint and they were all chatting, getting to know each other like any other fresher really. They were planning a big night.

"He seemed really relaxed and was happy to have a group photo with us."

Another student said: "We spotted him in the student bar and he seemed to be having a good time with his flatmates.

"They were all drinking and they were planning on going on to a nightclub after."

Issac was seen at Joe's bar, in the university student union, on Saturday, as well as other students taking to Twitter to confirm sightings.

Several students also reported that he is now living in the university's newest halls, as well as being spotted at the fresher's sports fair.

The star, who achieved three As in his maths, further maths, and chemistry A-levels, has also appeared on the university email system.
