Staff at Black Country 111 call centre test positive for coronavirus
Staff at the 111 NHS call centre in Brierley Hill have tested positive for coronavirus.
Bosses at West Midlands Ambulance Service have said the cases do not impact any services, and the centre is still running safely.
Those who have tested positive for Covid-19 have been instructed to self-isolate for two weeks as per government guidelines.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed: "A small number of staff in our 111 call centre in Brierley Hill have tested positive for Covid-19.
"This is contained and does not impact on our services, and the centre continues to operate safely."
The WMAS 111 call centre – which takes non-emergency healthcare calls from members of the public – is based at The Waterfront in Brierley Hill, Dudley.
