Pupil positive for coronavirus at Wolverhampton primary school
All children in Year 1 at a Wolverhampton primary school have been sent home after a positive coronavirus case.
A pupil in Year 1 at Elston Hall Primary School in Fordhouses has tested positive for coronavirus.
A letter from the school says: "We have been advised by Public Health England that there has been a confirmed case of Covid-19 within the school.
"This confirmed case was from a pupil in Class 4 (Year 1), all children from this class have been sent home and asked to quarantine for 14 days.

"We are continuing to monitor the situation and are working closely with Public Health England.
"This letter is to inform you of the current situation and provide advice on how to support your child.
"Please be reassured that for most people, coronavirus (Covid-19) will be a mild illness.
"The school remains open to all other year groups and providing your child remains well they can continue to attend school as normal. We will keep this under review."
