A Year 4 pupil has tested positive for Covid-19 at Summerhill Primary Academy.

Headteacher Kerry Rochester sent home a number of students who had come into contact with the child – they now must self-isolate for 10 days.

She said: "We have carried out a full risk assessment and identified all those who have been in close contact with the affected case and recommended they stay at home until 10 days after their last contact."
