A scene from the video

The video, featuring Stop by The Spice Girls, was posted to the travel company's Twitter account and reinforces the message encouraging people to stop, think and keep a safe distance apart of two metres.

It was made by workers from the Pensnett team.

The comical video features bus drivers, mechanics and office workers who are still working to keep public transport running despite the coronavirus pandemic.

The video also thanks key workers and the NHS for their work and has been viewed hundreds of times since it was posted.

Richard Smith, operations manager at National Express West Midlands' Pensnett garage, said: "Our bus drivers and engineers are working hard through lockdown to get other key workers safely to where they need to be.

"Obviously we are doing everything we can to keep our people and our customers safe, and social distancing is a big part of that.

"We wanted to remind everyone of this serious message, but try and do it in a fun way."

More Covid-19 coverage:

Buses from National Express West Midlands' Pensnett garage take NHS staff to Russells Hall Hospital and the QE every day.

The video was Richard's idea, which sparked by the West Bromwich depot, who had made a TikTok of themselves socially-distanced dancing.

He choreographed it with colleague Matt Robinson, who is the garage's CCTV operator, who also did the video editing.
