Boots investigating dispensing error
Boots is investigating claims that a dispensing error was made at one of its Black Country stores.
It is thought that a patient did not receive their required medication.
It is claimed that the dispensing error occurred at the Boots store on Dudley Street, Wolverhampton.
A Boots spokesman said: "Patient safety is, and always will be, our number one priority.
"We are currently investigating this dispensing incident and we would like to apologise most sincerely to the patient as we work to resolve their concerns.
"However, we would like to reassure you that our initial investigations indicate that there were no staffing issues at the time that this unfortunate incident occurred.”
