Comic Con returns to the Mander Centre!
Taking over the Centre on the 9th and 10th November, Comic Con Part 2 is the event you have been looking for! Hosted by Geeks Events, Comic Con will be bringing all the fun to the Mander Centre from 9-5.30pm on Saturday and 10.30-4.30pm on Sunday at this free event for all the family.
Over 40 traders will be selling their geeky wares, with everything from retro and vintage toys to comics, clothing and everything in between! Pick up a classic item, bring back some childhood memories or add to your already growing Funko Pop collection!
Photo Ops are aplenty! Try and break free from the Jokers Jail, send off a bat signal and scale the impossiwall like a true super hero!
The weekend sees guests from TV and film joining in the fun. Gareth David-Lloyd from Torchwood will be meeting and greeting fans along with Simon Fisher-Becker from Harry Potter and Sam Oatley from Doctor Who. Visitors can also pick up some sketching tips from Comic Book artist Grant Perkins.
Plus meet cosplayers at all ages, led by The Superheroes’ Cosplay team and joined by The East Midlands Garrison with Star Wars Costumers. Come along in costume and join in the cosplay competition on stage.
