Daffodils in Wall Heath

This colourful display of blooming daffodils is located next to the A449 Wolverhampton Road, at the junction of Hilbeache Lane, near Wall Heath.

It was captured by Express & Star photographer Dave Hamilton during sunny Spring afternoon in the Black Country.

The bright array of white and yellow flowers are set against a backdrop of the usually-bustling A449 that carries thousands of motorists each day.

The flowers are set on a patch of grass which forms part of a wider slice of green space, just north of Wall Heath and Kingswinford.

Kingswinford North Councillor Ed Lawrence said: "They are pretty spectacular when they are out like the rainbow images going in the window. They add a bit of colour and are a positive image."
