Three schools and three groups created art for the exhibition held at St Thomas's Church Hall, which had a theme of cocoa.

There was also Fairtrade tea, coffee, cake and chocolate on offer and a chocolate tasting session held on Saturday.

Sharon Challand, from Stourbridge Fairtrade Group, said: "It's gone really well, Suzanne Webb the MP for Stourbridge came, and we had a fantastic number of people come to the coffee morning and to view the art work.

"They've been sampling the Fairtrade chocolate, cakes, tea and coffee and everybody is enjoying it.

"We've had art from Peters Hill Primary School, Pedmore CE Primary School, St Thomas Guides and Brownies, Kingsinford Methodist Church Sunday School and New Road Church Sunday School.

"Stourbridge has been a Fairtrade town for 10 years now and we hold an event every year and we are always well supported by the local schools.

"The children understand that Fairtrade is about justice not charity and they really understand the concept and how it guarantees a living wage for the producers and they have been really enthusiastic about promoting the message."
