Crews were deployed to battle the blazes at the former Longlands School site, which was used as a Stourbridge College campus in later years.

Firefighters from Stourbridge and Brierley Hill were at the scene, off Brook Street, following a 999 call at around 1.40pm.

A West Midlands Fire Service spokesman said there were 'multiple' fires, which had started in several locations.

By 3.30pm firefighting had stopped and control of the site was passed to police officers.
