Pensioners hurt as car rolls over in Cradley Heath

[gallery] Two pensioners have been taken to hospital after being pulled free from their overturned car by firefighters after it collided with another vehicle.

An 81-year-old man and a woman, 78, both from Cradley Heath, were taken to hospital with minor injuries after the accident on Barrs Road, Cradley Heath.

Emergency services were called to the crash at 1.19pm after two cars collided causing the red car carrying the couple to overturn.

Two fire crews from Oldbury were called and helped free the pair.

West Midlands Ambulance Service paramedic Huw Jones, who tweeted images of the aftermath of the crash, said both victims had minor injuries.
