Extra nursery places as plans are given approval
More than 30 nursery spaces have been created at a school in Walsall after plans were backed by chiefs.
Plans had been put forward to build a stand-alone nursery block for 32 pupils at Goldsmith Primary Academy.
It has now been backed with planning bosses after a need for school places in the borough was highlighted.
A planning statement, on behalf of the school, said authority data revealed a shortfall of 150 spaces in the next three years, and the move would allow the school to create another "supportive and nurturing" place for pupils to develop.
