Years one and four at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, in Hill Crest Road, are currently self-isolating for 14 days.

It is not known how many positive cases of coronavirus had been reported.

The school posted the update on their Facebook page on November 5. The statement said: "Due to positive Covid-19 test results our year one and year four classes the bubbles have had to close.

"This means children from year one and year four need to self isolate for 14 days in line with Government guidance. A letter was sent out with the children and via email through school comms explaining the situation to parents.

"Please keep the children and staff in your prayers."
