Walsall school confirms second case of coronavirus
A Walsall school has confirmed a second case of coronavirus.
Shire Oak Academy sent a letter to parents yesterday which says there has been a confirmed case in the Year 11 bubble.
It comes after there was a positive case within the Year 13 bubble earlier this month.
The letter says: "We have been advised by Public Health England that there has been a confirmed case of Covid-19 within the Year 11 bubble.
"Parents of the students who we believe have had close contact with the student have been phoned this weekend.
"We may need to contact a small number of students on Monday morning following further checks."
