Stuart Nichol, 32, says St Judes C Of E Primary School, in Wolverhampton, have failed to send Kasia, eight, any work for this school week.

He believes teachers are no longer treating his child as a priority with her education due to his decision to keep her at home, although the school was accepting of this move, he says.

Mr Nichol, of Whitmore Reans, Wolverhampton, attended the Paget Road-based school on Monday intending to speak with his child’s teacher.

However, he ended up in a heated row with the headteacher which resulted in the school banning him from the premises and contacting police over the incident, he claims. The school has declined to comment.

Mr Nichol said: “I took this decision to keep her out of school over fears of Covid.”

West Midlands Police was also approached for comment.
