Jane Reason, subject leader for business studies at King Edward VI College Stourbridge, collapsed in the staff area on April 28 and was later pronounced dead by doctors at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital.

Colleagues have paid respect to the 'popular' teacher who 'will be sadly missed.' It is not known yet how the 57-year-old died.

Staff carried out CPR whilst waiting for ambulance crews to arrive before she was rushed to hospital with a police escort.

Principal Remley Mann said: "College and medical staff worked tirelessly to save her – we know she received the best possible care."
