New prospectus launched for Walsall College

A new prospectus has now been launched for Walsall College.

The V6 Young Persons' Course Guide for 2013 to 2014 lists all the full-time courses from GCSEs and NVQs to apprenticeships and BTECs being offered across the college's two campuses.

It includes a range of subjects including business, creative arts, hair and beauty, childcare, health and social care, public services, construction, science, sport and travel.

The brochure has been produced in consultation with current and prospective students and features images of current students.

Focus groups were conducted during the process to find out what learners wanted from a prospectus. It also includes case studies.

June Morrow, director of student journey at Walsall College, said: "We listened to what students wanted, took on their feedback and have produced an informative guide to help prospective learners make the important decisions they are faced with once they finish their GCSEs."

A series of free careers evenings has also been taking place for students.

The V6 Course Guide can be picked up from the college's campuses in Littleton Street and Green Lane.
