Author Alan Durant visits Pedmore Technology College
Award-winning author Alan Durant visited Pedmore Technology College and Community School in Stourbridge as part of their celebrations for National Poetry Week.

The author, famous for his books for children and teenagers, also officially opened the school's new Independent Learning Centre.
He later spent the day with pupils to share his experiences as a writer gave, read from his books and share tips and advice on how to master creative writing and poetry.
David Kemp, Principal of Pedmore Technology College said: "We are delighted that Mr Durant could join us as part of our activities to promote National Poetry Week.
For the students to be able to meet and talk to an established author has been a real bonus. "
