Four schools, all members of The Stourbridge Educational Trust (TSET) competed to be the winning designers for the trust logo recently.

Two students from each school; Thorns Community College, Redhill School, Pedmore Technology College, and Ridgewood High School were finalists at the event held at the new Art and Design Centre of Stourbridge College in Brierley Hill.

Lynette Cutting, Principal of Stourbridge College, awarded first prize to Ridgewood pupil, Chloe Taylor for her design.

Second prize went to James Ellis and James Statham, also of Ridgewood School, and third prize was awarded to Nayla Tabasum, of Pedmore Technology College. All prize winners received gift vouchers.

The principal commented on the high standard of work from all finalists.

The logo will be used on all future TSET correspondence and publicity.
