Police have launched a CCTV appeal following a stabbing in West Bromwich.

West Midlands Police has released a CCTV image of a man officers wish to talk to in connection with a stabbing at a pub in West Bromwich.

A man in his 30s suffered a stab wound to the chest at The Railway Inn pub on Harwood Street between 3am and 3.15am on September 13. He was taken to hospital.

Police are investigating and have now released an image of a man officers want to talk to.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We want to speak to him after a man was stabbed at The Railway Inn pub on Harwood Street, West Bromwich. It happened on September 13 between 3am and 3.15am.

"A man in his 30s suffered a stab wound to the chest and was taken to hospital. If you recognise him, please call 101 quoting 20/375478/25."
