Man appears in court over death of Dudley tattoo artist who was found dead at home during Covid lockdown

A 38-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the manslaughter of a Dudley tattoo artist.

Daniel Birtwistle, of Tamworth, appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court on Thursday charged with the killing of 'talented' tattoo artist Georgina Ward, who was found dead at her Brierley Hill home during the second coronavirus lockdown.

Georgina was found dead on November 24, 2020, and was described as a "remarkable young woman" in a tribute by her family.
