Man pleads not guilty to murdering woman whose body was discovered in layby
A man has pleaded not guilty to the murder of a woman whose body was discovered in a lay-by near Wolverhampton.
Jomaa Jerrare, from Heath Town, in Wolverhampton, was found in Bridgnorth Road, in Perton, just before 2.30am on August 9, 2021.
Clive O’Connor, from Bridge Street, in Bilston, appeared at Stafford Crown Court on Tuesday charged with murder and pleaded not guilty.
The 57-year-old will stand trial in June. He was remanded in custody.
