Walsall man accused of attempting to murder ex-partner misses court hearing

A man accused of attempting to murder a woman in Walsall failed to arrive to his court hearing.

Jeremy Holness, 40, is on prison remand accused of attempted murder relating to an alleged stabbing, in Stafford Street, in Walsall, on October 10 last year.

Judge Michael Chambers KC told Wolverhampton Crown Court on Wednesday(23) that it was unknown why Holness had not been transported to the preliminary hearing. He adjourned the case until January 16 for a case management hearing.
