Air rifles and car seized in South Staffordshire after three men stopped

Three men have been "detained" in South Staffordshire after air riles were discovered under stop and search powers by police officers.

Officers for the district teamed up with West Mercia Police on Saturday evening in a bid to tackle rural crime – and stopped three men.

They were stopped near Pattingham with both the firearms and vehicles being seized in the process. It is not known if any were officially arrested.
