Appeal after pensioner had money taken in Smethwick

An appeal has been launched after a pensioner had cash taken from him after two men offered to carry his bags in Smethwick.

The incident happened on Beech Way with the man, in his 70s, approached by the men who made the offer on June 7 at 2.30pm.

One of the men reached inside and stole cash from him, with police now releasing images of the men they want to speak to.

People should get in touch with the force via live chat on their website or by quoting crime number 20/483275/22.
